Southern Ontario, including the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), may see freezing rain and snow on Tuesday, according to Environment Canada.
The morning is expected to start with light snow turning to rain, with a 40% chance of showers in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, and the Niagara Falls area. Early freezing drizzle is possible in Hamilton and Oshawa, followed by a risk of freezing rain across the GTA.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach around 5°C, with gusty winds up to 70 km/h in Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton, gradually easing into the evening. Overnight lows could drop to -4°C, feeling as cold as -11°C in Mississauga due to wind chill.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, the forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds, with a high of 1°C and a low of -3°C. Residents are advised to exercise caution on the roads due to potential icy conditions.
