Durham police are investigating an Ajax gunshot investigation after a man with a gunshot wound attended Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital for treatment on January 29, 2026. At approximately 1:35 a.m., the male victim arrived at the hospital’s emergency department with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transferred to a Toronto-area trauma centre, where he remains in stable condition. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Det. Skinner of the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1905.
