Oshawa weather is expected to turn brighter on Tuesday afternoon after a cloudy start with a chance of showers, according to Environment Canada’s November 3 forecast.

The forecast, issued at 5 a.m. EST, calls for a 30 per cent chance of showers in the morning, clearing in the afternoon and a daytime high of 19 C. The UV index is forecast at 2, or low.

Mild evening, then another warm day

A few clouds are expected tonight, with a low of 11 C. Wednesday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud, becoming cloudy late in the afternoon, and a high of 20 C. Showers are forecast for Wednesday night, with a low of 13 C.

The longer-range outlook becomes cooler later in the week. Environment Canada’s Tuesday morning forecast lists a high of 17 C on Thursday, 15 C on Friday and 8 C on Saturday. Forecasts can change, so residents should consult the official page for updates rather than treating those later figures as certain.

Local conditions at 9 a.m.

At Oshawa Executive Airport, the 9 a.m. EST observation recorded cloudy conditions and a temperature of 14.9 C. Winds were from the south-southwest at 13 kilometres per hour. No alerts were displayed for the Oshawa forecast location when checked.

This Oshawa weather report uses the official forecast for one local point. Conditions elsewhere in Durham Region can differ. It is not a region-wide severe-weather bulletin.
