The Scugog office entrance at the front of the municipal building will be temporarily unavailable on Friday, October 30, while the Township installs its Remembrance Day 2026 Poppy Project.

The Township’s October 28 notice says the front-door closure at 181 Perry Street is scheduled from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Accessible rear entrance remains the way in

Visitors should use the accessible rear entrance to reach the Municipal Office during that period. The announcement concerns the front entrance, not a full closure of the office or a cancellation of all municipal services.

The installation is the reason given for the temporary access change. The notice does not announce a change to the scheduled hours of individual services, so anyone with a specific appointment should check directly with the Township if they need further arrangements.

Residents planning a Friday morning visit can avoid the closed Scugog office entrance by approaching the accessible rear doors. The Township thanks visitors for their patience during the installation.
