Pickering Fall Fling returns to Millennium Square and Nautical Village on Saturday, October 24, with music, seasonal activities and a children’s costume contest.
The City lists the event from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The October 24 schedule is different from the first Fall Fling date on October 17.
Saturday programme
The confirmed October 24 activities include pumpkin decorating, miniature train rides and trick-or-treating around the waterfront event area.
The children’s Halloween costume contest is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Millennium Square. Julia Middleton and Farrucas Duo are the performers listed for that Saturday.
The City also lists face painting, outdoor games, pumpkin bowling, roaming characters, food vendors and an artisan market with more than 15 vendors.
Use the October 24 schedule
The October 17 scavenger hunt, turkey-decorating activity and line-dancing programme should not be confused with this Saturday’s plans. The City’s event page separates the two dates so visitors can check which activities are offered.
Free giveaways are listed, but the City does not identify a guaranteed item or quantity. Food and artisan purchases are separate, and the information checked does not establish that every activity has no charge.
The Pickering Fall Fling appears in DurhamRegion.com’s October 22 weekend listing. The date-specific programme was verified against the City’s official page. Residents should check that page for changes and any activity conditions before travelling.
