An Ajax art show celebrating six decades of Ajax Creative Arts will give residents a chance to meet local artists and explore their work this weekend.
The Town of Ajax’s official event listing confirms the October 24 edition of Rooted in Art: 60 Years Together will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ajax Creative Arts, 22 Sherwood Road.
Local artists and family activities
The organizer’s listing describes work by more than 20 local artists, including new participants and returning exhibitors. Demonstrations, a children’s art table, a tea room and free draws are also part of the programme.
Admission and parking are listed as free. The event offers an opportunity to see local work and speak with artists, with art purchases separate from general admission.
Confirm the date for your visit
The October 24 event is part of a wider October 23–25 show series listed by the Town. This report’s 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours refer to the specifically checked Saturday listing, not an assumption about every activity promoted elsewhere.
The Ajax art show also appears in DurhamRegion.com’s October 22 weekend roundup. The date, Saturday hours, venue and free admission were checked against the municipal listing before publication.
Residents planning a visit should consult the official event page for any changes or additional organizer information.
