A Liam Toman fundraiser at a Whitby restaurant will support continued efforts to find the local man, who has been missing since February 2025.
Durham Radio News reports that Charley Ronicks will host a “Find Liam Day” on Tuesday, October 20. Customers will be able to add a donation to their bill, with the money directed to search efforts.
Search has continued since February 2025
Toman, 22, disappeared on February 2, 2025, while on a ski trip with friends in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. His family and friends have continued organizing searches and public-awareness efforts since his disappearance.
The Whitby restaurant was one of Toman’s favourite places, according to the local report. The October 20 event gives residents a way to support the search while visiting the restaurant.
Another search weekend is planned
Friends and relatives are also preparing to return to Mont-Tremblant on October 31 and November 1 for a Fall Search and Awareness Weekend. Durham Radio News says the trip will be the group’s 18th visit to the area while seeking answers.
The available announcement does not specify a suggested donation amount or a fixed share of restaurant sales. Customers should confirm event details with the restaurant when they visit.
The Liam Toman fundraiser is scheduled for October 20 at Charley Ronicks in Whitby. Current search information is also available through the family’s Liam Toman campaign website.
