A Farewell Street DRT detour remains in effect in Oshawa, affecting four bus routes while the road is closed between Raleigh Avenue and Colonel Sam Drive/Wentworth Street.
Durham Region Transit says Routes 407, 407A, 421 and 421A are affected by the closure, which began August 29 and continues until further notice.
Route 407 skips two stops
Route 407 is travelling by Wilson Road and Raleigh Avenue. It is not serving Stop 93597 at Wentworth eastbound at Wilson or Stop 93598 at Wentworth eastbound at Farewell.
Eastbound buses on Routes 407A, 421 and 421A are using Wentworth Street, Wilson Road and Raleigh Avenue. Temporary boarding locations are available on Wilson northbound at Wentworth and Raleigh westbound just west of Farewell.
DRT has not announced an end date. Riders should check current alerts before travelling.
