UXBRIDGE — The Uxbridge Historical Centre has announced the cancellation of Kite Day, which had been scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 18, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The annual event has become a favourite summer tradition in the community, drawing families and visitors to Quaker Hill for an afternoon of kite flying and outdoor activities. Organizers had planned to welcome guests to enjoy panoramic views of Uxbridge while flying their own kites or purchasing and creating one on-site.
