Durham Regional Police are investigating a commercial robbery and assault that occurred late Monday night at a gas station in Oshawa.
Police say officers from Central West Division responded to a robbery call at approximately 11:40 p.m. on December 15 at a gas station located at 800 Taunton Road West.
According to investigators, a suspect entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes. When the employee refused, the suspect assaulted the worker before fleeing the scene prior to police arrival. The victim did not sustain any injuries.
Police are now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
