BRAMPTON, ONTARIO — Peel Regional Police are investigating a vehicle fire in Brampton that is being treated as a case of arson.
Officers were called to the area of Queen Street and Rutherford Road at approximately 1:30 a.m. on January 4, 2026, after receiving reports of a vehicle engulfed in flames.
Police confirmed that the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. Investigators have classified the incident as a suspected arson; however, no suspect information has been released at this stage.
The investigation remains ongoing.
