The Oshawa Detroit Style Pizza Restaurant Opening is adding a fresh new dining and nightlife experience to Durham Region.
The Hangout Bar and Lounge, located at 462 Taunton Rd. W., officially opened in January 2026 and is already drawing attention for its elevated comfort food and energetic social atmosphere.
The menu highlights Detroit-style pizzas, including the signature Hangout Fiesta topped with sausage, bacon, chorizo and pepperoni. Guests can also enjoy handcrafted burgers such as the Motor City Burger and Chef Burger, along with wings, tacos, quesadillas, pastas and globally inspired dishes like pad thai and butter chicken.
The Oshawa Detroit Style Pizza Restaurant Opening also features a full drink menu offering craft cocktails, mocktails and beers. The restaurant plans to host weekly community car shows during the warmer months, adding to its nightlife appeal.
