The City of Pickering has revealed the winners of its snowplow naming contest. After narrowing submissions to a top five, the community voted for their favorite names.
The final five nominees were:
- Blizzard of Oz
- General Plow Chicken
- Gordie Plow
- Plowasaurus Rex
- Scoop Dogg
The winning names, General Plow Chicken and Scoop Dogg, will now be displayed on the city’s two newest snowplows. Residents can also track all Pickering snowplows in action using the city’s interactive map.
