Durham Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Missing Oshawa Girl who was last seen on Sunday afternoon.

Police say Isabella, whose surname has not been released due to her age, was last spotted at approximately 3:30 p.m. on March 1 in the area of Simcoe Street North and Adelaide Avenue East in Oshawa.

Investigators from the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) say they are concerned for the teenager’s safety and are urging anyone who may have information about her whereabouts to come forward.

According to police, Isabella is described as five feet four inches tall with a slim build. She has long blond hair with pink and purple ends, which officers say may help members of the public identify her.

At the time she was last seen, Isabella was wearing a black jacket with a patterned design that may resemble camouflage, along with black pants and black-and-white shoes.

Police have not released additional details about where Isabella may have been heading or whether she may have travelled outside the Oshawa area. Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Authorities say missing person investigations rely heavily on information from the community, and even small details could help locate Isabella.

Durham Regional Police are asking residents in Oshawa and surrounding communities to check home security cameras, dash cameras, or any surveillance footage recorded around the time Isabella was last seen.

Investigators are particularly interested in any footage or sightings from the Simcoe Street North and Adelaide Avenue East area, which is located in central Oshawa and includes several residential neighbourhoods, schools, and local businesses.

Police say the search for Isabella remains ongoing and officers are following up on any information received.

Community members are encouraged to contact police immediately if they believe they have seen Isabella or have information that could assist investigators.

Anyone with information about the missing Oshawa teenager is asked to contact Durham Regional Police Service at 905-579-1520, extension 1705.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Durham Regional Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by submitting information online. Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to new developments in the investigation.

Police say sharing the information publicly can also help spread awareness and increase the chances of locating Isabella safely.

Durham Regional Police continue to ask the community to remain vigilant and report any possible sightings or information that may help bring the missing teen home.
