Durham Region to begin drilling New Port Perry water supply well on February 17. The new well, located at 12235 Simcoe St., is part of the region’s effort to improve its water supply for local residents and businesses. The construction of the well is scheduled to be completed by late May, with well testing concluding by the end of September.
Residents and businesses near the site may notice increased traffic and noise during the drilling and construction process. However, it is expected that municipal and private water quality will not be affected during this time.
