A public meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., to discuss the Proposed Residential Development Land Use Changes Ajax at 1, 3, 5, 7 Rossland Road East and 901 Harwood Ave North, Ajax. The meeting will address Regional Official Plan Amendment Application ROPA26-A1, Town of Ajax Official Plan Amendment Application OPA26-A1, and Zoning By-law Amendment Application Z2/26.
These applications aim to allow a 10-storey apartment building with approximately 165 units on the vacant portion of Rossland Landing plaza. The changes propose re-designating the property from Employment Areas to Community Areas and adjusting the zoning to accommodate residential development.
