In Durham, skies will become cloudy early in the morning, with a 70 per cent chance of snow developing late in the morning and continuing into the afternoon. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach –1 C, while wind chill values will make it feel closer to –10 C. Winds are forecast to strengthen throughout the day, with gusts reaching up to 50 km/h.

By the evening, conditions will remain mostly cloudy before becoming overcast overnight. Temperatures in Durham are expected to drop to around –5 C, with wind chill values between –10 C and –12 C. Winds will ease later in the night.

Across much of southern Ontario, including Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Hamilton, similar conditions are expected, with scattered flurries, daytime highs near –1 to –2 C, and gusty winds up to 60 km/h, making it feel significantly colder.

Residents are advised to prepare for reduced visibility at times and colder wind chill values as winter conditions intensify.
