Oshawa official results now confirm Tito-Dante Marimpietri as mayor and the ten councillors elected for the 2026–2030 term, following certification by the City Clerk.
The city’s election pages have changed from the earlier unofficial reporting stage to an official declaration. This is the substantive development in this follow-up to All About Durham’s election-night report, rather than a new account of the same preliminary vote.
Regional and city councillors confirmed
Christopher Biancaniello is the elected Regional and City Councillor for Ward 1. Cameron Anderson represents Ward 2 in that role, Bob Chapman Ward 3, Jack O’Donnell Ward 4 and Brian Charles Nicholson Ward 5.
The local city councillors are Rosemary McConkey in Ward 1, Jane Hurst in Ward 2, Roger Bouma in Ward 3, Deb Oldfield in Ward 4 and John Gray in Ward 5.
The official page lists all eleven members, including the mayor. It also directs readers to the Clerk’s Official Results Declaration for every office on the ballot, including school-board trustee contests.
More than 40,000 electors participated
The city reports that 40,718 electors cast a ballot, representing turnout of 26.9 per cent. That is the municipality-wide participation figure, not the number of votes cast for a single candidate or in a single race.
Oshawa’s election information page lists November 15 as the beginning of the new council term. No inauguration time is stated in the official results material reviewed for this article.
The Oshawa official results page was checked on October 29. It does not display an exact publication time for the certification update. The certified status is now confirmed by the city; this report does not suggest that a recount, a changed winner or any additional review has been announced.
