The Soper Creek Halloween Party will bring seasonal games, crafts and wildlife education to the Clarington rescue centre on Saturday, October 24.
The organizer’s booking page confirms two sessions: 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. Guests can spend up to two hours exploring activity stations.
Activities support wildlife work
Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue lists trick-or-treating through its Enchanted Forest, a treasure hunt and encounters with animal ambassadors among the planned activities. Costumes are encouraged.
The event is described by the organizer as both a Halloween celebration and a fundraiser. DurhamRegion.com’s October 22 weekend roundup also includes the party.
Ticket and supervision rules
Tickets are required for children aged two to 16 and cost $15 plus HST. Up to two accompanying parent or guardian tickets are complimentary per booking. Additional adults cost $10 plus HST each.
All adults attending must accompany a child, and guests under 16 must remain with an adult throughout the event. The organizer says birthday parties and other group celebrations cannot be booked during scheduled events.
Space is limited. Families should consult the booking page for current availability and conditions before travelling. The page states that onsite-event ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
The Soper Creek Halloween Party offers a local outdoor programme with specific timed sessions, rather than unrestricted admission throughout the day.
