Families are invited to cool off and celebrate summer with an exciting Micro Bubbles Foam Party as part of Kids in the Square, presented by TD Bank Group, in downtown Ajax.
Taking place on Tuesday, August 25, at Pat Bayly Square (75 Bayly Street West), the free family event promises an afternoon filled with music, dancing, and mountains of foam in one of Ajax’s most popular community gathering spaces.
The Micro Bubbles Foam Party is one of the featured events in the Town of Ajax’s Summer in the Square program, offering children and families a fun, interactive experience during the final weeks of the summer season.
Participants can dance and play while surrounded by clouds of hypo-allergenic, eco-friendly foam, specially designed for safe outdoor family entertainment. The foam is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, making it suitable for children while creating an exciting atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
Organizers encourage participants to dress appropriately, as everyone taking part should expect to get wet while running, dancing, and playing in the foam-filled event area. Wearing lightweight clothing, water-friendly footwear, and bringing a towel or change of clothes is recommended for added comfort after the event.
In addition to the foam party, visitors can purchase sweet treats and refreshments from the on-site snack bar, making it easy for families to spend the afternoon enjoying the festivities together.
Kids in the Square is part of Ajax’s popular Summer in the Square series, which transforms Pat Bayly Square into a vibrant destination throughout the summer with free concerts, children’s performances, fitness activities, and family entertainment.
Admission to the event is completely free, making it an affordable outing for residents of Ajax and communities across Durham Region.
The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine, with most Summer in the Square performances moving indoors during inclement weather to either the Ajax Community Centre – HMS Community Hall or Ice Pad 2, where seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
However, organizers note that the Micro Bubbles Foam Party cannot be moved indoors. If severe weather occurs, the foam party may be cancelled for safety reasons. Any changes, cancellations, or event updates will be announced through the Town of Ajax’s official social media channels after 5:00 p.m.
Parents are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the activities, secure a good spot, and allow children plenty of time to participate in the foam-filled fun.
