Residents across Ajax and Durham Region are being invited to put their knowledge to the test as Quizzes and Cocktails at the St. Francis Centre returns later this month for another evening of trivia, entertainment, and community fun.
The popular trivia event will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the St. Francis Centre for Community, Arts & Culture, located at 78 Church Street South in Ajax.
Organizers say Quizzes and Cocktails at the St. Francis Centre has become one of the venue’s most popular recurring social events, attracting trivia enthusiasts, casual players, and community groups looking for an interactive night out.
The event welcomes individuals as well as teams of up to four participants. Players will compete in an “anything goes” trivia format featuring questions covering movies, music, television, cartoons, superheroes, pop culture, sports, science, history, and general knowledge topics.
According to organizers, the trivia series is designed to create a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere where participants of all skill levels can enjoy friendly competition while socializing with others in the community.
Each team participating in Quizzes and Cocktails at the St. Francis Centre is required to bring a smartphone, tablet, or laptop in order to take part in the interactive trivia gameplay.
The May 27 event is part of a larger trivia series hosted throughout the year at the St. Francis Centre. Organizers noted that previous editions held in 2023, 2024, and 2025 sold out, making advance ticket purchases highly recommended.
Prizes will be awarded to participants during the evening, adding an extra layer of competition and excitement to the event.
Attendees will also have access to concessions and a licensed cash bar throughout the night.
Tickets for Quizzes and Cocktails at the St. Francis Centre are priced at $5 per team member, including HST. Additional online service fees apply for tickets purchased digitally.
