Whitby Town Hall repairs are scheduled from September 30 through October 16, with construction from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The work at 575 Rossland Road East includes roof replacement and concrete repairs. Occupants may hear intermittent noise from equipment, demolition and installation.
West entrance stairs will close temporarily on selected days. Whitby has not listed fixed dates because the concrete work depends on weather.
East and south access routes will remain available. Visitors should follow posted signs and allow extra time when the west stairs are unavailable.
This is a different, longer project than the three-hour east entrance closure announced for September 29. The Town has not announced a full building closure.
