A major Oshawa drug trafficking investigation arrest has resulted in three individuals being taken into custody following a police operation targeting a local convenience store suspected of illegal activity.

Durham Regional Police launched the investigation earlier in March 2026, focusing on All in One Convenience, located at 152 Park Road South in Oshawa. Authorities received information alleging that employees at the store were involved in trafficking drugs and exchanging controlled substances for alcohol.

On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, investigators from the East Crime Team, with support from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), executed search warrants at both the Oshawa business and a residence in Toronto. Officers located two males and one female inside the store and arrested them without incident.

During the search, police uncovered a significant quantity of illegal items, including various drugs, drug paraphernalia, and large amounts of cash. Investigators also seized more than 250 bottles of stolen alcohol valued at over $20,000, along with illegal cigarettes and stolen clothing. The findings point to a broader operation involving both drug trafficking and possession of stolen property.

The Oshawa drug trafficking investigation arrest has led to multiple serious charges against the three accused.

Mayuresh Mahendran, 22, of Toronto, faces several charges, including possession of fentanyl and crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of crystal methamphetamine, selling cannabis, possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of unmarked cigarettes for sale, and driving while under suspension.

Fredy Biju, 22, of Oshawa, is charged with trafficking fentanyl, multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking involving fentanyl, crack cocaine, and hydromorphone, along with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and possession of unmarked cigarettes for sale.

Emilie Ann Crissinger, 22, of Clarington, is charged with possession of fentanyl and crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession of stolen property over $5,000.

All three individuals were held for bail hearings following their arrests.

Police say the investigation highlights ongoing concerns around drug trafficking operations within local businesses and the risks posed to the community. Authorities continue to urge the public to report suspicious activity, as community tips often play a crucial role in launching investigations like this one.

Anyone with additional information about the incident is asked to contact the East Crime Team. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Durham Regional Crime Stoppers, with potential eligibility for a cash reward.

Investigators remind the public that the charges laid are based on evidence gathered during the investigation and have not yet been proven in court.

The Oshawa drug trafficking investigation arrest serves as another example of ongoing efforts by Durham police to combat illegal drug activity and protect public safety within the region.
