Pickering's Santa Claus Parade starts at 10 a.m. on November 28, but the key planning change for 2026 is its temporary move to Whites Road. The City says construction in the City Centre prevents use of the usual Glenanna Road disbanding area.
Entries form at Dunbarton High School and travel north toward St. Mary's Catholic Secondary School. The official start is south of the railway bridge; spectators are not permitted on the bridge. The City also warns that no public washrooms are available along the event route.
Whites Road closures are scheduled from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., or until the parade disbands, with an earlier closure on part of Sheppard Avenue. Use the City's current route instructions, not the older Dixie Road and Glenanna Road location in the regional roundup.
