A temporary Pickering health club closure is planned while crews install interior metal flashing around skylights at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex.
The overall project is scheduled from Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2. Work will proceed in three phases across the five-day period.
Health club reopens October 2
The health club will be closed to members on October 1 and will reopen at 7 p.m. on October 2. Areas directly below active work zones will also be closed for safety.
The City says a crane delivery scheduled for September 21 was not expected to affect interior use. Facility users should follow signs and staff instructions as work shifts between skylight areas.
Schedules can change, so members should check the City’s current service-disruption notice before visiting during the project period.
