A male suspect has been arrested following an Oshawa armed robbery at a fast-food restaurant, according to Durham Regional Police.
Police say officers from Central East Division responded to an armed person call at Church’s Chicken, located at 70 King Street East, at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Investigators allege a man entered the restaurant armed with a knife and demanded cash from an employee. Officers arrived quickly and took the suspect into custody without incident.
Police confirmed that no physical injuries were reported.
The accused, Charlie Cameron Cook, 22, of Oshawa, is charged with:

He was held for a bail hearing.
