Residents can help shape McHattie Park Beaverton plans at a public session October 13.
Brock Township plans the park at the end of Foster Hewitt Street in the Marydel subdivision. Feedback will guide the design.
Meeting details
Participants can suggest park uses, playground design, landscaping, amenities and activities. The session runs 5 to 8 p.m. at the Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre auditorium, 176 Main Street.
People unable to attend may submit comments to Brock parks and recreation or deliver them to the municipal office at 1 Cameron Street East in Cannington. No construction timetable or opening date has been announced.
The McHattie Park Beaverton consultation is an early public step for the proposed neighbourhood park.
