Later in the evening, the Durham weather week forecast indicates that snow could develop before midnight. Up to 2 centimetres of snow may accumulate while strong winds continue overnight. Temperatures will fall to –8°C, and wind chill values could make it feel as cold as –18°C.

Friday will remain mostly cloudy with a daytime high of 4°C. Conditions will become unsettled in the evening with a 60 percent chance of rain or flurries, while overnight temperatures fall again to –2°C.
