A 60-year-old Oshawa Man Arrested faces multiple charges after he allegedly stabbed another man during a verbal altercation at a residence. On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, Durham Regional Police responded to a call for an armed person in the area of Athol Street East and Ritson Road South.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim with serious injuries and immediately took the suspect, Robert RYALEN, into custody without incident. The victim was treated by emergency medical personnel on the scene and transported to the hospital.
RYALEN, charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Assault with a Weapon, and Possess Weapon Dangerous, was held for a bail hearing.
