The Pickering low-cost snow removal program is still accepting applications for the 2026 winter season, offering assistance to residents who may struggle with snow-clearing responsibilities.
Eligible participants include Pickering residents aged 65 and older, or those under 65 with a permanent physical or cognitive disability. Applicants must provide proof of age or disability to qualify for the Pickering low-cost snow removal program.
Fees for the program are calculated based on taxable income, found on line 260 of your tax assessment. The seasonal program operates until April 30 and will continue accepting applications until all available spots are filled.
This initiative is part of the City of Pickering’s ongoing efforts to support seniors and residents with disabilities during the winter months. Residents interested in enrolling in the Pickering low-cost snow removal program can find more information and apply on the city’s official website.
