-
Adding units to an existing building
-
Redeveloping community housing to increase affordable units
Since its inception, the AHIP has funded over $30.5 million, creating 350 new affordable rental units across Ajax, Clarington, Oshawa, Pickering, Scugog, Uxbridge, and Whitby.
Applications are open until April 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. For detailed information and submission instructions, visit durham.ca/AHIP.
Through this initiative, Durham Region affordable housing programs aim to ensure that more residents have safe, accessible, and affordable rental housing in the region.
