A Pickering attempted break-in has prompted Durham Regional Police to search for three suspects following an unsuccessful break-and-enter at a residence last week.
Police say two male suspects were seen at the front door of a home near Turnstone Boulevard and Kerrydale Avenue at approximately 3:25 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13. The pair allegedly attempted to smash the front door glass to gain entry but were unsuccessful.
Investigators report the suspects fled the area and entered a white Honda Civic sedan that was waiting nearby and driven by a third suspect.
The first suspect is described as approximately 5’10” with a medium build, wearing a black ski mask, dark sunglasses, a dark Nike hoodie, a black puffer vest, black jogging pants, and black winter boots.
The second suspect is described as approximately 5’8” with a medium build, wearing a black medical mask, black-framed glasses, a grey hoodie, and black jeans.
Anyone with information, including cellphone, dashcam, or surveillance footage, is urged to contact D/Cst. Alexander of the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520, extension 1905.
Anonymous tips can be submitted to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online. Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward.
