Early risers may be greeted by overcast skies, with clouds likely obscuring the 7:50 a.m. sunrise across much of the region.
Regional Outlook
- Mississauga, Brampton, Halton:
Skies will remain cloudy throughout the day, with light winds up to 15 km/h. Daytime highs are expected to reach –3°C, with wind chill values between –9°C and –12°C. - Hamilton:
Overcast conditions will persist, with stronger winds reaching up to 40 km/h. Temperatures will climb to about –1°C, though wind chills will make it feel colder. - Durham Region:
Mostly cloudy skies are expected, with winds up to 15 km/h. The daytime high will reach –4°C, with wind chills near –14°C in the morning, improving to around –9°C by the afternoon.
Evening and Overnight
Sunset will occur at 4:47 p.m. By evening, skies will become partly cloudy in Mississauga and Brampton, with overnight lows dropping to –5°C and wind chills near –11°C.
In Halton, Hamilton, and Durham, cloud cover will persist overnight. Temperatures are expected to fall between –7°C and –6°C, before slowly rising toward –3°C to –2°C by Sunday morning. Wind chills will remain between –10°C and –12°C through the night.
