The Township of Uxbridge has lowered its flags to half-mast across Township facilities in recognition of Indigenous Veterans Day on Sunday, November 8.
The flags will remain lowered over the weekend in honour of the sacrifices and challenges faced by Indigenous Veterans during and after their service.
Residents looking to learn more about Indigenous Veterans can visit the Veterans Affairs Canada page on Indigenous Veterans.
