Pickering's Winter Nights, City Lights takes place November 13 and 14 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The City identifies Esplanade Park and Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex as the event area.
Tree lighting and pyro-musical fireworks are scheduled for 6 p.m. each night. The surrounding program includes live entertainment, food vendors, a holiday market, art installations, photo opportunities and roaming characters.
Families interested primarily in the fireworks should plan around that earlier 6 p.m. moment rather than arriving near the end of the evening. Check the City's current notice before travelling for any weather-related program changes.
