The Durham September 30 forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud Wednesday, with morning fog clearing and a daytime high of 21 C.
Environment Canada issued its Oshawa forecast at 5 a.m. At the same time, Oshawa Executive Airport was reporting mist, calm winds, a temperature of 13.4 C and visibility of 10 kilometres.
Fog expected to clear this morning
Fog patches are expected to dissipate during the morning before sun and clouds share the sky. The federal forecast does not call for daytime rain. The UV index is expected to reach 6, which Environment Canada classifies as high, so sun protection remains useful even with cloud cover.
Wednesday’s forecast high is five degrees above the listed seasonal normal of 16 C. The normal overnight low for this time of year is 6 C.
Clouds and showers possible overnight
Cloudy conditions are forecast Wednesday night, with a 30 per cent chance of showers overnight and a low of 16 C.
Thursday is expected to stay cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers. Southwest winds are forecast to reach 20 km/h in the afternoon, while the temperature climbs to 23 C with a humidex value of 28.
Open-Meteo’s model guidance also projects a high near 21 C for central Durham on Wednesday and only a small daytime precipitation probability. Forecast values can change as newer observations become available.
Sunrise is listed for 7:12 a.m. and sunset for 6:59 p.m. The Durham September 30 forecast should be checked again before weather-sensitive travel or outdoor plans.
