The Uxbridge arena reopening followed a temporary repair to the wall damaged by a vehicle September 23.
Durham Radio News reported the community centre reopened within days. Police reported no injuries and no charges.
Inspection and repair
The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. Uxbridge Mayor Dave Barton said building officials and insurance staff attended within an hour, and an engineer arrived by 9 a.m. the next morning.
The township initially closed the community-centre portion while the vacant damaged section was inspected. The main arena remained open. A temporary repair allowed reopening; no permanent-work timetable was given.
