An Alex Robertson Park closure has taken the southern part of the gravel parking lot out of service while Pickering supports a culvert replacement project.
The partial closure began September 24, 2026 and is scheduled through October 2027. The closed section will stage equipment and materials for the Krosno Creek Culvert Replacement Project.
Northern lot remains open
Park users can continue using the northern portion of the gravel lot throughout construction. Pickering published a map with its notice.
Visitors should expect reduced parking through all four seasons and into next fall. The notice concerns only the southern gravel lot, not a full park closure.
