The Uxbridge Arena community centre closure will continue until further notice after a vehicle struck and damaged an exterior wall Wednesday evening.
The Township of Uxbridge says the collision happened at about 7:30 p.m. on September 23. No serious injuries were reported, and the damaged section was vacant.
Main arena remains open
The closure applies to the community centre portion. The main arena remains open and regularly scheduled arena programming is continuing.
Municipal staff secured the building, and structural inspections are underway. Renters affected by the closure have been notified. No reopening date has been announced.
