A Pickering scratch ticket winner has claimed a $100,000 top prize, according to an Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announcement reported by Durham Radio News.
Luca B., a retail worker from Pickering, won on a 5X The Cash ticket. He initially believed the prize was $10 before realizing the ticket was worth $100,000.
Winner plans to invest and save
The winner told OLG that he plans to invest part of the prize, buy a new car and save toward a home.
The ticket was purchased at Lucky Twyn Rivers Variety on Twyn Rivers Drive in Pickering. Prize information is attributed to OLG; All About Durham has not independently viewed the ticket.
