Warm Conditions Expected in Southern Ontario
Temperatures across parts of southern Ontario are expected to reach the upper 20s on Tuesday.
The original regional forecast calls for temperatures around 28 C in parts of the Greater Toronto Area, with humidity making conditions feel warmer.
A northwest wind of around 20 km/h is also expected to develop around midday.
Residents spending extended periods outdoors should be mindful of the UV index, which is expected to reach 8, considered very high.

Northwest winds near 20 km/h are also forecast to ease around midnight.
Temperatures will become considerably cooler overnight, falling into the mid-teens across parts of the region.
Showers Possible Wednesday

The forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud in parts of southern Ontario, along with a chance of showers.
Temperatures are again expected to remain in the upper 20s during the daytime before dropping into the mid-teens overnight.
Additional shower chances are possible Wednesday evening.
Cooler Conditions Later This Week
Thursday could continue the unsettled pattern, with another chance of showers before conditions improve heading toward Friday.
Friday is expected to bring sunnier skies and temperatures in the mid-20s.
The weekend forecast remains mixed, with temperatures generally staying in the 20s and another possibility of showers later in the weekend.
Residents should continue checking updated local forecasts because temperatures, precipitation chances and other conditions can change as the week progresses.
