According to Environment Canada, communities including Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Clarington, Brock, Scugog, and Uxbridge are expected to enjoy sunny skies throughout the day, creating ideal conditions for outdoor recreation, community events, and family activities.
The day will begin with a clear sunrise at approximately 5:44 a.m., setting the stage for a warm and pleasant summer Sunday. Sunshine is expected to dominate the forecast from morning through evening, with no significant chance of rain across the region.
Warm Summer Temperatures
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 29°C across Durham Region, while the humidex will make it feel closer to 30°C to 32°C during the afternoon.
Although humidity levels will increase slightly compared to Saturday, conditions are expected to remain comfortable enough for residents planning to spend time outdoors.

Residents spending extended periods outdoors are also encouraged to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.

The forecast provides excellent conditions for visiting Durham Region’s parks, conservation areas, beaches, trails, and waterfront destinations.
