Clarington residents looking to beat the heat this summer can take advantage of the municipality’s Summer Splash Pass, offering three months of unlimited public swimming at all municipal pool locations for just $40.

The pass, now on sale through the Municipality of Clarington’s online registration system, is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase and provides access to public swim programs at every municipal pool in Clarington. The pass is available to residents of all ages and can be purchased online or in person at any municipal facility.

Customers who purchase the pass online will need to visit a facility to pick up their membership key tag, which grants access to the pools. The pass allows unlimited uses throughout its validity period, making it an affordable option for families and individuals who plan to swim regularly over the summer months.

The Summer Splash Pass is only available for purchase until July 15, 2026, so residents are encouraged to buy early to maximize the three-month window. With summer weather now settling in across Durham Region, the timing is ideal for those looking to make swimming a regular part of their seasonal routine.

Clarington operates several municipal pools across the municipality, including facilities in Bowmanville, Courtice and Newcastle, providing convenient access for residents no matter where they live in the community.

The pass is priced at $40 per individual, making it one of the most affordable recreational deals available in Durham Region this summer. For families with multiple swimmers, individual passes can be purchased for each member up to a maximum of one pass per person. At roughly 44 cents per day over the full 90-day period, the value is difficult to beat for anyone planning to visit the pool even a few times per week.

Registration and purchasing is available through the Be Active Clarington online portal. Residents can also contact community services at 905-623-3379 or email communityservices@clarington.net for more information.

Accepted methods of payment include Visa, MasterCard and other options. The Municipality of Clarington offices are located at 40 Temperance Street in Bowmanville.

With temperatures climbing and school wrapping up for the year, the Summer Splash Pass offers Clarington families an accessible and budget-friendly way to stay active and cool throughout the summer season. Whether it is a daily morning swim or weekend family outings, the unlimited access makes it easy to fit swimming into any summer schedule.

The program is part of Clarington’s broader commitment to providing affordable recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. The Municipality of Clarington is reminding residents that no sales will be processed after July 15, so anyone interested should purchase before the cutoff date. Once purchased, the pass remains active for the full 90-day period regardless of when it was bought, meaning earlier purchases provide more total swim time throughout the summer.

For more information or to purchase a pass, visit the Be Active Clarington website or stop by any municipal recreation facility.
