The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) has reignited an investigation into a high-value commercial robbery, releasing new details to help identify three men involved in a Pickering Warehouse Theft 2026. The incident, which resulted in the loss of approximately $145,000 worth of specialized tools, industrial equipment, and copper wiring, occurred at a warehouse located at 1610 Feldspar Court. Despite the original crime taking place in the early fall of last year, investigators are now appealing to the public for assistance as new leads surface regarding the vehicles and descriptions of those involved.

According to the official police report, the Pickering Warehouse Theft 2026 was a calculated and bold operation. On September 21, at approximately 2 a.m., the suspects gained entry to the facility and proceeded to systematically strip it of high-value inventory. Remarkably, the group felt comfortable enough to make multiple trips back to the warehouse throughout the early morning hours, utilizing different vehicles to transport the heavy equipment and copper wiring. This brazen approach suggests the suspects may have had prior knowledge of the site’s security measures or lack thereof.

Investigators have provided specific descriptions of the three men sought in connection with the Pickering Warehouse Theft 2026. The first suspect is described as a white male with long brown hair, seen wearing a construction vest, black cargo pants, and black shoes, and was operating a silver car. The second suspect, also a white male, was seen in a black baseball cap and black hoodie, driving a distinctive orange pickup truck. The third suspect was observed wearing a light-colored hoodie and dark pants, driving a red pickup truck. The use of multiple vehicles, including two distinct pickups, was instrumental in moving the $145,000 haul.

The Pickering Warehouse Theft 2026 is part of a growing trend of commercial “break-and-enters” targeting construction materials and industrial supplies in the Durham Region. With the rising cost of copper and high-end power tools, warehouses along the Highway 401 corridor have become frequent targets for organized theft rings. DRPS is currently reviewing forensic evidence and regional surveillance footage to determine if this group is linked to other similar warehouse robberies across Ajax or Whitby that occurred during the same period.

Local business owners in the Feldspar Court area are being urged to review their historical security footage for any sightings of an orange or red pickup truck during the overnight hours of late September. The Pickering Warehouse Theft 2026 highlights the importance of real-time security alerts and robust perimeter protection for industrial sites. Police are particularly interested in any dashcam footage from late-shift workers who may have been in the industrial park area between midnight and 5 a.m. on the night of the incident.

Anyone with information that could lead to the identification of the suspects in the Pickering Warehouse Theft 2026 is asked to contact the DRPS West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520, ext. 2521. For those who wish to remain anonymous, tips can be submitted through Durham Regional Crime Stoppers. A financial reward may be available for information that leads to an arrest or the recovery of the stolen $145,000 in equipment.
